Anyone know what Steven earns?

I was reading through one of the threads about budgets. His current films are fairly low budget and I was wondering if anyone knew what sort of contract he has. It's widely reported that actors like Tom Cruise (a talentless waste in my opinion) get $25 Million per movie, which is more that the whole budget of many of Steven's recent films. Anyone know what he gets? I hope he's on a percentage of the video rentals and sales.

I don't know, but I am sure someone here does...I think there was an article that stated he'd be paid certain amounts, seem to remember that...I agree that Tom Cruise is a waste, and I have never liked his work...

Not that we should concern outselves with such crude thoughts (kidding ), but it's probably a couple of mill per movie. At least $1m per movie I reckon.

STV stars find it a very lucrative business to be in, although they're not getting Tom Cruise money. Even TV stars are making silly amounts these days...

Thats what Id like to see, stars and sports figures get waaaaay too much money. I agree they should do well but not to extremes I have 2 jobs and wasnt to thrilled to hear Steven only made a milllion on one of then (thats a sad statement) while I agree he is important so are we no one is better we may be richer not better.

take that in context a million IS alot of money I'd take it then I could be quite happy ex: Michael Jacksons parents blew 45 mil and now saying at 400.000 theyre almost broke (ACTUALY WANTED TO FILE BANKRUPTCY SO NOT HAVE TO PAY BACK WHAT OWED)at what point am I supposed to feel sorry for them? at what point do I say well they deserve it theyre famous theyre famous cause they have money once money gone no longer famous they go hand in hand. money = responsibility..play you pay.

sports figures like the guy from nike just got out of HS makes millions think that makes me wanna but their prod nope opposite, I didnt hear how he was gonna feed our homeless (lots of them children) or help with the sick, sorry cant support his vacation to cancun or where ever when I have to work to go to mine.

point dont devaluate money..only a million is a huge statement..and Im sure he gets in the double digits or he wont work remember what he said in HPD he wanted his money or hes gonna take that hammer and hit something yep thats our Man..Go Steven!

The last i heard he was on $4 million a movie, but if that's the case it swallows up quite a bit of the movie budget. I think Van Damme is on approximately $1 million a movie.

I heard Steven got paid $4 million a movie for Into the Sun and Out of Reach, but took a pay cut to $3 million a movie for Submerged and Mercenary.

Van Damme is making from what was said here...
I think Steven knows STV is good these days...
Everyone is into DVD's...
Of course it is a lot less than what he made before,
but the budgets were also bigger...
I think he is doing lots more things himself now,
but I could be wrong there...

$3 or $4 million per movie doesn't seem much for an action star these days! Maybe if he has a big hit (or even something that opens in theatres rather than going straight to video) his cut will increase.

RichieMadano,Into The Sun will have a theatrical release;it's a joint Franchise Pictures/Warner Bros.film.All Franchise/Warner Bros. projects get released on the big screen.The latest Franchise/Warner Bros. movie hit the big screen will be Spartan,starring Val Kilmer & William H Macy.

Seagal's next film,Out Of Reach,will be going stv.

Submerged & Mercernary will also go dtv.
