Oblowitz should probably just work with some other people... He obviously doesn't know what to do to show off Steven Seagal's potential ... so maybe he should take on one of those people from the Next Action Star (what a huge disappointmen it was to me ... Joel Silver said he was going to make many appearences throughout, but he only came for the first and last shows...)...

That show was awful. Joel Silver worked with Seagal once, and obviously wasnt impressed enough to do it again. "Exit Wounds" director was good for Seagal, maybe he should team up, although who knows how it would turn out with Silver there.

I agree, another Silver/Seagal film would do good for everyone.

Yeah, but you can only have so many comebacks. I think Silver thinks he is too good for Seagal with his work on the matrix. I liked the film, but it was sort of the nail in 80's action stars coffin. I doubt the trend will ever go back.

I doubt it too ... everytime I see a Matrix style scene in some other movie, many just laugh at the movie for lack of originality.

It was a cool effect but it's getting a bit too much now with so many replicating the moves and overdoing on the wirework.

I don't like copy-cats and 'clones' but if it's done in a tasteful way, it could work.

For now, I can only see Jet Li continuing in that 'genre' and succeeding.

These sorts of things evolve over time. Joel Silver will always be known for his Matrix 'bullet time' invention and the spectacular use of wire works, but it won't take too long before someone else comes up with something just as big and just as new and original.

I thought the same thing, it was the first thing I thought when I saw the picture. Maybe he can dodge bullets in this movie to. LOL
