Am I the only one that thinks Seagal needs to change his image. I like the Cop/milatary shady past thing but i think he need to try other things.
I think people think if you have seen one Seagal flick you have seen them all. They need to make Seagal a normal guy with a wife and kids (and the kids dont get kidnaped!), or in a sience fiction movie and he fights aliens. Anything new might boost him out of this rut. And if I were in his shoes i would be trying anything to get my movies back in the box office.

Hmmm...
Well, I think the role of teacher of the Martial Arts, (of course, who would be better for that type of role than him!) and maybe the family man idea might be good too...
But people like to see him kick butts, and so too big of a change might be a turn off...
I dunno...
I'd like to know what his opinion is, because I think he knows what's best...
I think some mature cop roles would be really good for him, you know where he teaches the newbies from his experience, and gets into a few fights along the way...
Let's face it this man is extraordinary, a boring plain role is just not for him...

I don't agree with you Gino. There can not be a regular family father with capabilities and using of guns !! He is master of fighter. I am thinking that must be a person with charisma !! Because Steven Seagal is very extraordinary guy.

Sincerely

Well there has been movies about an ex specialist turned family man..so that wouldn't be anything new. But I agree that a change of character would be different & could be what he needs.
Maybe something along the line of an Martial Arts instructor

Gino - I agree with you. In his movies so far he has played a cop (Nico), a retired cop (Hatcher), a cop who wakes from a coma after seven years (Storm), a cop (Gino), an ex Navy SEAL turned cook (Ryback), a firefighter with a shadowy past (Forrest Taft), an ex Navy SEAL turned cook (Ryback), a Special Forces Lieutenant Colonel (Austin Travis), a cop with a shadowy past (Jack Cole), an undercover FBI (EPA) agent (Jack Taggart), a holistic doctor with a shadowy past Wesley McClaren), a cop (Orin Boyd), a bomb squad cop with a shadowy past (Glass), an undercover FBI agent with a shadowy past (Sascha), a secret agent with a shadowy past (Cold) and a professor with a shadowy past (Robert Burns). So I think we can safely say that the shadowy past thing has been done to death now and it is time for him to move on.

How about a mob boss or mob enforcer type..
At the rate he is going now he may be playing Jabba the Hut in the next Star Wars movie..

True he has a tough, and exciting look, but he seems
very sweet, sigh, he's a very intriging combo for sure...:)
I don't know about bad guy roles for him, although
I believe he could do any role he wanted to do...
And he could do it very well...
Comments about the Star Wars movie was not funny!
I am sick to death of talking about his weight!
He is wonderful just as he is, sooo amazing...:)

Weight?

I think she is referring to my jabba the hut comment that i made(which was just a joke by the way-maybe i should have made that understood).

Everyone knew it was a joke, Mikey - just some peeps are more sensitive than others.
