With all this debating going on I have to take a cyber vacation Kathy since Im starting with Denali welcome to come on by. See you already saw the site its HUGE oh the reason its pretty unspoiled is its out of the way and its just too cold to argue with
Was sad to learn natives have houses not all of them did I had an old Alaskan friend he came from a village but thats been awhile back. They are losing their culture and their way just as my native ancestors started living in houses and no more hunting then no more anyhting that was our trademark and birthright,I hate to see original people lose their culture it was so beautiful and so rich in heritage.
Here while back I swear I thought I was watching a flashback from ODG remember the bad guy Jennings (michael caine) from Aegis one talking about the deer then with cameras off said they stink get them out of here.we there was a man standing almost like that for real telling us why we should drill in Alaska for oil (NEVER) They start that and I'll find Steven myself.( last time I had a legitimate complaint I found his contacts in less than an hour...he got my message by the end of the day out of the country) and the people who had offended him and me probably heard about it from him after that-Im a writer remember we have contacts)
All I know is if Steven saw what I did about that they guy probably got some hot e mail from him. Hes trying to convince us why we should do that for ther good of the natives did you ask them which they prefer esp afte Valdez a nightmare..to possibly be repeated? How much is enough? When do we say okay Im happy. You know Steven pointed out the world one day may not be able to sustain us all if we keep overfishing, man used to fish foir his family and what he needed and the spirits said fine and they were plentiful,,then man became more productive and said feed my community and he got a motor boat and that was good for he was sharing and fortune smiled upon him and he was in plenty..
then man got greedy and no longer fed his neighbor but his wallet and said give me as much as you can and fate said you have taken all there is and you have give nothing in return..from nothing you have nothing you recieve and man has still not learned his lesson for still he relys on the sea to feed hos wallet instead of his needs..and the fish are smaller in numbers because you did not allow them to muliply for fututre generations you are stealing from your children their right to fish for if you keep it up the waters will be lifeless and vast.
How much is enough, what does it take for man to see what he is doing has lasting results in everything he does and that oil is the last thing we need as was stated ODG there are a dozen ways to run an engine besides gas and oil solar power is free. Did you know before stars had solar pannels installed you once had to heat pools can you imagine how much that must have cost a star himself put it at prohibitive and swore never to do it agaion after a big party. now its the same result for free. Honda is alradyu bringing out an eco car and quite few people are interested but one catch you have to have rrecahrge stations every several hundred miles. guess who doesnt want that you guessed it and thats a major drawback. cant got too far yet.

If you see him Thank him for what hes trying to do, make us see what others dont want you to see..not only is he Sensei but hes our friend too..okay grab your parkas Im goin for a walk in the freezer I mean mountains..
