21:19 -EARTHQUAKE IN BANDIRMA

ISTANBUL (A.A) - 09.06.2003 - An earthquake measuring 5.1 on the Richter scale shook Bandýrma town of northwestern Balýkesir province on Monday.

Bogazici University Kandilli Observatory and Seismology Centre said that the quake took place at 20.44 local time.

The quake was also felt in neighbouring provinces and Istanbul.

Yes, we felt it but we are fine now. Some went out !!

Glad to hear that you're ok Suziwong...the other day I actually heard someone say that my area of town is suppose to have an earthquake support for our water heater-weird cause we didn't get one!
