Hi,
I saw a video clip online called dimmak on shareaza, and this person claims he can channel his chi at a person to knock him out. His technique allows him to knock out an individual without touching them. Well i wanted to know if this was real. I found several books relating to the topic on Amazon.com. So I wanted to know your opinions on "Empty Force", "Chi Kung", or "Tai Chi" as it as has many names, I also would like to know if anyone practices or has mastered these arts, or if it is real at all or what is going on... the link to the book on amazon is http://www.amazon.com/exec/obidos/t...7?v=glance&s=books&n=507846">Empty Force Book

Mynoj, there are many masters that can claim to do this and channel their internal energy or "chi" inorder to kill one person in one touch. Many masters in the old days of kung fu were known to do this but there was no prrof. Geroge Dilman is known for touching a person one time and knocking him out targeting a specific nerve area. I really don't think it is practical in self defense because your opponent will not be standing still and inorder to target or hit the nerve in the exact spot you have to have 100% profficient accuracy which is very hard to do when your opponent is trying to severly hurt you. In my opinion it is just all theoretical and a bunch of old traditional teachings. The best self defense is to fulyl believe you are capable of defending yourself sucessfully learning the multiple dimentions of fighting.
