Exit Wounds, the book.

Do any of you old timers *wink* remember when we use to chat to John Westermann on the 'other' site about his book?

I answered a question on IMDB about the book but the guy wanted to know what 'exit wounds' meant in relation to the story, in the book.

Now I have read the book and for the life of me can't remember, or if John ever said anything about it at the other site.

An exit wound is the wound left by a bullet but what does it in relation to the book?

Thanks.

Well since no one else has embarrassed themselves & agreed with you that I can't remember what John said either :( Have you checked to see if he happened to write it on his web site?

Cookie - in answer to your question, the meaning of 'Exit Wounds' from the title of the novel refers to the pain Orin Boyd caused his wife and children when he left them. The 'Exit Wounds' are the wounds his exit from the family caused. Orin's divorce was only briefly touched upon in the movie, but the book contains much more detail. Of course, the double meaning of the phrase also means the hole left by a bullet, which is usually larger than an entrance wound.

John Westermann was awesome. I had some good conversations with him on the old site.

Cookie - ;)

Here are a few pics of John with Steven, DMX, and Tom Arnold.
Look how tall he is standing next to Steven. :D

Thanks for explaining that, GMan. :) I never heard that before.

tall, indeed!

You don't see Seagal look up too often.

Our local Chapters/Indigo store is always out of Westermann's books.
