Tell me where I can apply for that job, and I'll put my two weeks notice in today! lol!!!

I've been known to watch a movie in the conference room at work, especially if I have to fill in on a weekend!

I agree with you GlimmerMan. I don't think anyone would actually want to sit through his most recent films.

Haha! You'd have to pay me to sit through any of his recent films.
I disagree, I think Mercenary For Justice is a very good DTV!!!
And I think there are more people like me, who have seen the movie and agree with me :D
But you must agree with me that Mercenary For Justice is a much much better movie than his previously DTVs.

I haven't yet watched Mercenary for Justice (2006) so I can't judge that film.

It is true that there is a varying quality among his DTV films. However when compared as a whole with his earlier work, they all pale in comparison.

It doesn't matter to me if the film is good or bad as long as he is in it. True love for the big guy.

That is so refreshing to read littlewolf - I would never turn down the opportunity of seeing him in any film.

As I have said on a number of occasions, I own every Seagal DVD and I pre-order each new film as soon as it's release date is announced. I do this becasue I am a fan though this doesn't stop me being disappointed if his films are below par, as they have been often lately.

Thank you Pandora. I know his last couple of films weren't the best, but he's the best there is.
Yes, you're right and I'm also realistic, and just like you littleworlf, Pandora, Suzi Wong and every other fan, I will always believe in the man Steven Seagal!!!

He's nice, great, gentle, cool, tough, fascinating, awesome, fantastic and much and much more than this!!!! I will thank everyone who has lots and lots of respect for Steven Seagal!!!

Seagal was once the best there is. No longer can he lay claim to this title. In our eyes he will always be the best but elsewhere he is not. If he puts some work in though then maybe everyone can see him the way we do. I doubt however that he has it in him.

I would like to believe that, but in order to get a better director or producer he needs to take the initiative. It has just been confirmed that Seagal is currently shooting the last picture in a 3 picture deal, all with the same director. Michael Keusch has had some experience but little in the action genre the Seagal is in. On the IMDb his highest rated film is 5.14, yet Seagal signed the deal where Keusch would direct him 3 times in a row?

Being a fan is not just about being positive all the time. I think that this is very misunderstood by some people on this site. Being a fan also involves giving constructive criticism in order to help our hero understand what we think of him and to help him know what will be successful and what will not. Following him blindly and without question is not being a fan.

Yeah, like he reads these messages!!!! Think if you want to give him instructive criticism, you tell him on the official site.

How do you know he doesn't. Unless you know something we don't I very much doubt an of us can be certain. For all we know he or somone close to him could be a member of this site. It has been known to happen. After all writer Peter Briggs joined the Highlander forums to see what fans wanted for the new film. Granted he did join the offical site but as Seagal's offical site has been intermitent this has become the main locale for Seagal fans. I also obviously offer constructive criticism and advice on the official site.

You always seem to be so negative Pandora.

It doesn't matter as Steven will be in it.I'd love to see him in action like he used to do,but he isn't Nico anymore. He's more into his music now.No matter what he does It's alright with me.
