Has anyone seen 'GhostDog The Way of the Samurai' ? If not I highly reccomend this one. If you have seen it, what did you think ?
Forest Whittaker puts in another solid performance. The film has a different slant on it in the 'Leon' style but also this films delivers a lot more. A very interesting and intelligent, often funny film. Let me know what you think.

Not to be rude or anything, but shouldn't this thread be in the Off-Topic forum? I thought this section was for Steven Seagal movies.

Ghost Dog is one of my favorite movies, though. I like how Jarmusch took an action-movie-style story and turned it into an interesting little character-driven comedy. The Seijun Suzuki references were a nice touch, too.

'GhostDog The Way of the Samurai'!
Yes, I saw it a few years ago.
Forest Whittaker is a fantastic actor!
Have you seen his 2006 picture?
He did a wonderful acting job in
'The Last King of Scotland'! He played
the part of General Idi Amin Dada. He
made Amin seem almost human.
Although Amin was never considered
to be a 'nice guy', and that's an
understatement for sure! I remember
Amin only as the 'Butcher of Uganda'!
God bless,

Never really took to this movie, but I agree, Seagal was definitely the right guy for the job of Ghost Dog.
