:cook: :whazzup: Hey everyone! I guess since I'm new to the site I'd just run my first thread introducing myself a bit. I've been a Steven Seagal fan as far back as I can remember. I'd say over 10 years now. I'm 23 years old (presently), about 5'6", around 130 lbs. I love and own just about all his movies, and have a couple soundtracks from the films. My interest in Aikido started because of him. Heck, my interests in many things started because of him. In the past I have studied a little Karate, Korean Karate, Hapkido, Aikido, and I have books at home on Aikido, Judo, Karate, Yoga, videos on Yoga, Tai Chi. I wish I had the time and money right now to take martial art classes but being as I'm in college (and will be till the end of 2005) I think I have to wait. I do consistantly keep weight lift about three days a week, can't get those six-pack abs though. I listen to many types of music, not including Rap, mostly including a variaty of Rock. My music collection probably consists of around 400 CDs, my movie collection probably consists of around 150 movies. I have seller accounts on Half.com, Ebay.com, and Amazon.com. I have a girlfriend (fiancee) (for about 6 years on and off) who seems to enjoy Steven Seagal movies so I guess I should feel blessed for that. I found this forum through Steven Seagal And The Asian Arts site. I've probably passed through this forum and read things multiple times over the years but haven't, until now, decided to join. In most things in life I ask myself the question WWSSD? Kind of a twist on the WWJD? logos. I hope that I can get along and fit in here pretty well. It's hard for me to find other fans so I guess this is the place. I've probably overdone this introduction already (and I'm not even sure I said anything of interest) so if anyone has any questions or wants to make any comments to me in the future feel free. Are you kidding, ZenLateralus? :D That's probably the greatest intro we've seen here yet. You wouldn't believe how many new members we get that never even have one post. My, you certainy have been busy in your 23 years, haven't you? :)

I know I welcomed you already in another thread, but let me do so again here. This is indeed a great place to be if you're a fan of Steven's, a terrific community of friends who share a common interest.

Welcome, ZenLateralus. :) Great to have here you with us. I look forward to more of your posts in the future.

Welcome to the family Zen. Word of warning. This web site is addicting. My homework was due a week ago and I still haven't finished it yet! I am learning to live on less sleep so I can be on here when the "natives" are sleeping and not yelling "MAAA!" Spelling errors will get more frequent and you will make many friends!:)

Wow, you really spend that much time on here leaving posts? How come it seems as though the chat room is always empty? Does anyone else have problems loading the official SS site? The only SS movies I don't own are My Giant (Never seen it), Executive Decision (not really a SS movie?), and Out for a Kill (I didn't like the quality). I do own The Path Beyond Thought though. I have Music from the Movies of Steven Seagal, Fire Down Below, Marked for Death, and Out For Justice soundtracks. Does anyone here have those soundtracks and maybe others?

I am like you, zen, haven't seen My Giant, don't own Executive Decision...
But do have OFAK (liked it for my own reasons) Have PBT, and FDB soundtrack...
I will get the other soundtracks too, love the music from ABTL, wonder if that is
on those too...
Steven is the best, no contest...
I am here all the time, and he's always right here in my heart, too...:)

Welcome! "My Giant" = not SS movie :=)

Well, I guess it's a bit too late (LOL I'm a student too, and recently had no time to post much), but WELCOME!

By the way: My Giant was not a Steven Seagal movie. It was sort of a comedy about a tall man who didn't fit in, and Billy Crystal ended up playing his 'guide' for the 'Giant' to succeed in everyday life by taking him to a big city where one of the people they happened to meet was Steven Seagal (who played himself for about 20 seconds or so). It's an O.K. movie and would serve as a good time-killer if you've got nothing else lined up (like an upcoming NHL game on some sports network).

Keep it cool, LOL and keep your cool (some members can get fiesty here if you accidentally type in some word which is taken out of proportion and in a totally different context ... some here might know what I mean :=))

I'm not sure what it is but I'm beginning to get the feeling that my comments within this forum are either unwelcome or unappreciated. Maybe it's just my paranoia or just the fact that I'm a new member and people don't know what to think of me yet. I guess we'll see. I'll surely keep coming back for more information in the future if I don't continue posting. Well see what happens in the future...

I don't know why I really wrote that. I'm not sure what I really expect from other viewers and writers on this site. Maybe too much or something. I guess the fact that i'm having a bad day doesn't help either eh? If only I had some of Seagal's knowledge to put my mind at peace more often than not...
