In 2013 it was reported that Austin had signed a deal with Anchor Bay to produce two DTV films, the first was to be titled "Kill 'Em All, John" or something like that. Haven't seen anything since. His films were low budget, but enjoyable. Wrestling is a physically brutal way to make a living. He had a role in an Adam Sandler comedy after that (but that was still last year). I think he had to pause his movie career for a bit because of some operation (you know those wrestling people are always falling apart). He's been concentrating on his Podcast and now he has a Broken Skull Challenge obstacle course show (something like a redneck version of Ninja Warrior). I wouldn't be surprised to see him return to action films soon, he had enough time to recuperate and rest.
