I just finished watching Marker, and of course, I must share with you all here on the Seagal forums. I'm not going to into all the details of each aspect of the film since so little people have seen it already, but please feel free to ask questions and I'll respond to all of them.
Basically, Marker / Pistol Whipped, is a fun film with some decent action that makes this film worth watching. It's definitely not as good as Urban Justice though. I wouldn't consider this film a step backwards since it's obvious that Seagal actually put some effort into this film, but if anything, this film's negative qualities come from the amateur editing job. The entire movie is filled with stupid slow-motion / speed-up camera movements which get annoying. But, Seagal does all his own lines, fighting, and what not. So yeah, he actually did participate in the making of this film.
