Just had a little chat with producer Benjamin Sacks and I congratulated him with Absolution getting a theatrical release. They start shooting Killing Salazar this week. He arrived in Bucharest just an hour ago.

He told me Bren Foster is out of this movie. George St Pierres is still in.

Don't know if you guys like to see updates about Waxman / Sacks action movies (because Steven is out), but I thought it's fun to follow these guys' projects.

Did you ask him about the rumored Waxman/Seagal projects?

Well I had the feeling he didn't want to talk about that (for now). He just mentioned again that Steven is working with a different group at the moment.

After retiring from MMA and appearing in Captain America 2 I figured GSP would be bound for bigger movies like Ronda Rousey, or even Gina Carano, but now he's in a Keoni Waxman/Romania DTV?

No offence to anyone working on it, but it's just weird seeing him go from a Marvel movie to this level so fast.

I really thought GSP had the ingredients to become a star, but I guess it's difficult when it's not the 90's anymore.

I hope the movie is good though, but few of them are.

Probably good news for the Waxman-Seagal fans though.

I am happy that hes not making some of the recent linked films which sounded cheap

The only other non Waxman film I was bothered about was Cypher

I also think this is an Ensemble type film a bit like FOE
