that's Corsica!the second one is on the "Sanguinaires" peninsula!
It's near Ajaccio!the name means "Bloody",it comes from the old days when Pirats would kill the sailors who were lulled by the fires in the Genovese
towers!
You can see a Genovese tower in the second picture.
They come from the time when Corsica was still Italian!Well,not technically Italian,since Italy was not unified,but they belonged to Genova!
The second picture is from an old Corsican Village!

Actually the first shot is Balogna ,Corsica,the village of my Father,Pop 500
in Winter and 10000 in Summer!
The second shot is not Corsica but Orleans,it was the old University Club!
There I spent countless hours having a beer or Partying!
the place was called the English Club!
Other Pictures:1 the Languages Laboratory in Orleans University,it no longer exists!it's brand new now!less fun maybe?
the second pic is from Ajaccio,need I say who that is?Napoleon,Of course!!!LOL,never say a true Corsican you don't like Napoleon!
The third pic is from Orleans,it's the Royal bridge!
