Hi Guys !

I have the Fire Down Below Soundtrack, and i love track number 9 - Long Way Around.

But : The voice, who's singing the song on the CD is a different one, than the voice siniging it at the end of the film.
I checked Kazaa for Richie Sambora - Long Way around and found a file, that contains the voice from the end of the film ...


so i don't know whta's going on ??? Is Richie Sambora singing on the Soundtrack ??? And if he is .... who sings the song in the movie ???

Anybody knows ?

I have no idea, sorry....John Lucas, can you please help? Is Steven singing in that one? I don't know...I know he must have written lyrics or something for that one...

Yeah , i know that ... i have the CD and the booklet.

But : If Richie Sambora is singing on the CD, who is singing the song in the film ??? That's definitely not the same voice !!!

Richie is a leading guitarist in Bon Jovi.The voice in the movie indeed belongs to him,I could recognize it from hundred miles away.But what I find curious the voice on the CD doesn't actually sound like Richie's so I'm a bit confused too...What have they done to his voice Ii wonder?
You can listen to Richie Sambora's solo singles "One Light Burning","Father Time","Hard Times Come Easy"-he has a kind of a voice nobody else has on this planet.

Now i've listened to several Richie Sambora tracks and I asked a friend of mine, who is a big Bon Jovi Fan , what he thinks about the voice on the CD ... and he told me, that this is definitely NOT Richie Sambora... Strange - What's going on here ????

It isn't Sambora on the CD.........it was an error on the FDB soundtrack CD......I came across an article about it....don't know if I still have the info around.....I believe it said Sambora sings Long Way Around in the film....the version on the CD soundtrack is not the same track as in the movie........and Sambora got mistakedly listed as singer on the CD(though it's stated that he plays the lead guitar on it) ....which he isn't(can't remember who the actual singer is)..Seagal did co-write that one too....

I don't know if that's what I saw......I think I came across it when doing a search for "Steven Seagal music" and came across 2 albums that his music appears on ......and 2 albums that he also performed on.

PS:Still don't know who actually sings it on the soundtrack CD tho....

I've read in a different interview with Richie Sambora, that the version on the CD is the demo version - so it is probably sung by David Pomeranz , the guy who co-wrote the song ?!??
