I had my CD on when my daughter(age 19) came home from work today. She had gone into the kitchen to get something to eat. I looked over to see what she was up to, and caught her humming and moving to one of Sensei's songs. What was funny, was that she hates to hear me talk about him and refuses to watch his movies. Guess she will be a fan of his now, even if it is only of his music.

My dad and I were listening to it, and he really digs Girl it's alright I think my mom likes Route 23 a lot, but she's like your daughter, she hates to hear me drone on about him, she likes to give me a hard time about listening to it, and watching the movies for the umpteenth time, because she probably thinks he's a threat, since I'd run off with him in two seconds if he asked...
However she still claims she would be very happy for me if that ever happened...
But yeah, even they dig some of the music...

My brother listened in a bit and said he really couldn't tell it was Seagal singing. He's also not a fan (quite the opposite). I've listened to most (not all) of the CD and I really like it. There may be a song or two that I want to relisten to but other than that good (All the songs sound good to the ear though I need time to decide about the lyrics of one or two). I think Don't you Cry is one of the best songs I've heard for a while now. Goree (I may have spelled this wrong) is also a really good song. This isn't my review by the way. Maybe a preview of my review.

Suzi. One way you may be able to find out something is to call your credit card company. Here we can call the number on the back of the card and automatically hear the last few charges that have been added to your card, even before the bill arrives. If the charge from Amazon is on there, that means it's been shipped! Amazon doesn't bill your card until the ordered is processed.
If you're able to do that with your card by calling and hearing the transactions, at least you'll know if it's even been processed yet. Worth a try, anyway.

I really like the lyrics to most (if not all) the songs. I'm just wondering if I'm right when I believe that the song My God is mocking peoplel who think that their religion is the best. I'd go as far to post the lyrics of Don't You Cry for people to see the how good the song is but I think I'd be cheating people out of the sound that accompanies the words.

I'd probably go as far as to say that if you can't enjoy this CD than you just don't like music.
My CD came from Amazon France today!
The music is good. I like Steven's voice. I had to listen hard to get all the lyrics and he has some hidden messages in there about religious tolerance. His anti-war message is plain enough. I'm not much of a reggae fan but overall it's a very good listen and well worth the wait for it to come from France.

Some of the words written differ from the words he sings, however not much...
That's a common thing though...
I think the lyrics are one of the best parts...
He plays so good too, I just get lost in it as I imagine those beautiful hands doing their thing...
And that voice, it soothes me...
