Newbie Question about Steven

Hey Guys and Girls,
My name's Si, i'm new here. Nice to meet you all! I'm a big Steven Seagal fan, have been for a while now, of his older films anyway...

I wanted to know, wtf has happened to stevenseagal.com? that site used to rock, Now it looks like my 4 year old nephew has whacked it together? I was highly dissapointed.
These forums are a great idea though, so whoever is behind them, well done, top marks to ya!
Secondly, and i really don't want to cause any friction here, But is it just me or is our beloved hero taking on any film he can the last couple of years regradless of weather it is any good? I see a new film, straight onto dvd every few months or so, i mean, iv'e watched them, and there dosn't seem to have been a decent one since Exit Wounds.
Maybe its just me, But it would be great to see him starring in a film with a decent story behind it, and some dialouge that makes scence. Under Siege, and Nico, and Hard To Kill were classics, bring em back!

Anyway, Great to meet you all, Id'e appreciate your thoughts on what iv'e said. I know your all big steven fans, but put aside your admiration and look at the films for a minute and tell me what you think.

Hello Si and welcome to our site, this is the best on the web, we have a few people who have tried really hard to make it a great place for SS's Fan!! Craig, Serena,Suzi, Amos and TD! They put alot of time to gather info on movies, locations, pics and any thing else we want to know! It is really put together nicely. So you have no need to go elsewhere!
Have you seen his latest Into the Sun? I think it is a step up and maybe his movies are going to improve!
Most are very honest and have been disappointed in some of his newer films and are out spoken about it! But still remain loyal to him as I well!
He also has a music CD Songs from the Crystal Cave that is very good! Have you heard!

The one from a few years ago went under due to lack of moderation and interest on the part of the creators and being overrun by trolls. The one that came on last year has sucked from day one , has never had accurate or up-to-date information, and has very little to offer a Steven Seagal fan.

As for the rest of your comments--well, you're entitled to your opinion.

Erm, I'm not sure when it was that i last checked it out. I know it had His signature at the top though? It was a good site, when i looked anyway. I cant get over that new one, its a shame. Somebody should step in and say look, Im a big steven seagal fan, i can build a decent website, let me take over. Because people looking at that are gonna think what i thought, which is, oh dear! Its going to make people think SS is a cheapskate basically!

Thank you for the welcomes though, all of you. Mucho Appreciated. As i said before,im a big fan of steves movies, his skills always impressed the hell outta me. Im not up on his music though unfortunately, any good? been a guitarist myself, im interested to hear how good he is!

As for his latest films, I havn't seen Into The Sun yet, I'll look out for that! I hope they do get better. It would be a shame for his Movie career to go out on a low, instead of a kick ass box office sucess. He'll always rock though eh? lol

Even some of the people who have turned away from his movies have come to appreciate his CD, "Songs From the Crystal Cave". He's well respected for his guitar skills, and has performed with the likes of B.B. King, among many others. As you explore the site more, you'll find different threads, especially in the Music forum, about the CD and the positive feedback. There is also even a download of the music video for the song "Girl It's Alright", which was high on the charts in France for a while.

I myself haven't ordered it yet, as it's only available on French Amazon. It's not that I have a problem ordering, as many people have, even without speaking French, and have had no troubles. It just ticks me off a little that it's not available here in the U.S., and I'm just stubborn enough to wait until it comes here.

And I do agree with your last statement: He WILL always rock!
