Actor Steven Seagal believed his career would be ruined and he and his family put in danger if he cooperated with federal prosecutors in a probe of a suspected mob attempt to shake him down for hundreds of thousands of dollars, Newsday has learned.

"I think to testify in a case like this could put me and my family in grave danger," Seagal told a federal grand jury last year. "I still think that. And it could destroy my livelihood and I have six children to feed."

But despite his fears, Seagal, 50, is flying back from Thailand, where he is starring in the movie "Belly of the Beast." He is expected to testify tomorrow in the trial of reputed Gambino boss Peter Gotti and six other men charged with racketeering.

Seagal, who was granted immunity to testify before the grand jury, is expected to tell jurors in the Gotti trial how he felt threatened and intimidated by Gambino crime family captain Anthony Ciccone and soldier Primo Cassarino in a financial dispute with a former business partner. "

"Granted Immunity"? From what? He didn't do anything!
He was "one" of the victims! He was being victimized! Duh!!!!
Only an idiot would not be frightened by these creeps! Steven
is just one man! He makes wonderful movies but none of his characters are "him"! He's not a coward in any way, shape or form! He is doing what he feels he has to do! To me, that demands even more respect for him than I already had!

Lotus - thankyou for your question. Allow me to enlighten you my dear Seagal-obsessed matey! Branston pickle is a delicious spiced vegetable mixture, which is brown in colour and... oh fu*k I love it! Hahahaha! It livens up a cheese butty like nothing else! The principle ingredients of Branston Pickle are as follows: finely diced carrots, swede, onions, apples, cauliflower, dates, courgettes and sweet gherkins. These are mixed with brown sugar, salt, lemon juice, Worcester Sauce, mustard seeds, ground mixed spices, cayenne pepper and caramel colouring. It sounds disgusting, but it fu*king rules! Hahaha! The small chunk variety is ideal for sandwiches.
