Rush Hour 4: Jackie Chan confirms sequel is happening on one condition.
The iconic actor confirmed a script for the fourth installment has been completed.

Jackie Chan has revealed that a fourth entry in the Rush Hour series is closer than we think.
Chan first starred alongside Chris Tucker in the buddy cop action comedy in 1998 with the duo returning for two more sequels in 2001 and 2007.

With ten years now passed since their last on-screen union, Chan has some good news for fans - the fourth installment's script has been written.
“For the last seven years, we've been turning down the script, turning down the script,” Chan told Power 106's The Cruz Show, adding: “Yesterday, we just agreed.”

He continued: “The script probably at the end of this month will have a second draft and next year, [we'll] probably start. If... Chris Tucker agrees.”
According to producer Arthur Sarkissian, however, Chan needn't worry; he previously claimed that Tucker was “on board,” adding: “He said he would love to do it.”
