Calderon Sensei will also be in Washington State giving a seminar July 21st and 22nd.

It should be noted that Calderon is the ONLY direct student of Take Sensei (Seagal Shihan), and has passed his dan test the first time through (very rare). The TAF is not affiliated with Seagal nor does Seagal endorse the TAF (Tenshin Aikido Federation).

I am scheduled to take this seminar on Aug.4 and 5 in Salinas. I received my Shodan Black Belt and teaching certificate on June 21. Would you like me to post my thoughts around this class?

1. Where at in Washington was it; is there another planned?

2. Is the severed TAF connection something new? I thought there was some kind of minimal emotional support?

Well....

The Calderon Seminar was in Tacoma. As far as another seminar, I am not sure when it will be.

As for the TAF I really do not know what the situation is or is not. I have nothing bad to say about the TAF, it's instructors or students, and I wish all TAF members the best in thier endevors.

Hi all,
Just finished the seminar in Salinas.What a great honor to train with Sensei Calderon and his students!This was by far the best seminar I have been to.I have committed to train with them at least 2 weeks a year.It was exactly like watching Take Sensei.This is what style of Aikido I have been looking for.Great thanks to Sensei Calderon and his students! I look forward to many hours of training with Tenshin.

What a nice for you.. Sensei Calderon is exactly great human and great teacher. yes you are right his aikido is looks like Take Sensei and nobody can not say he was not Take Sensei's Students isn't it .. :)
