I hope they are too, Leon!!
I also hope that just maybe, some of the moderators
for the SSMB, might be selected from our membership
here! We have a lot of intellegent, considerate and
understanding members on this board!
Thanks to Craig's envolvement, along with our moderators,
we are able to continue to keep this board clean!
I believe this board honors Steven Seagal more than the
SSMB ever did!!
God bless,
Mama san

Dennis has the right to express free speech. Who are you to say he can't? This is why boards like this don't end up amounting to anything because everybody is so afraid to let people express themselves how they choose too. You single out the non "Seagal worshippers", and all you end up doing is stroking the egos of people like Casey, who think everything revolves around Seagal and their personal views. All I can say is lighten up. Let people handle their own problems, instead of running to you, so you can press the little button and ban somebody. Dennis can come right back anyway... What did deleting him really do or accomplish? Nothing.

The board is for discussing Steven Seagal, not for creating a thread full of insults about a fellow member of the board.

Tommy we've heard all this before. We just want to talk about Steven and our appreciation for him. Thats what this site is for. If you want to make sarcastic remarks about him and have a laugh Im sure there are other sites you can go to and do that but we're here because we love him and thats all there is to it. Why are you here? End of conversation!:(
Peace and love

Tommy,
I have no problem with free speech at all, I say as long as you aren't hurting anyone by what you say, and just expressing an opinion, then go for it...
I don't know what Dennis wrote, but IMO insulting someone is not the right way to talk.
All I can say is that on this board or any board that is dedicated to Steven Seagal, everything should, for the most part, revolve around the subject of Steven or things related to Steven.
If you want a disscussion board that is completely free of us so called 'worshippers', than with all due respect, you might be on the wrong site. This board is a 'Steven Seagal' board, that's why I am here...I should be free to express my feelings here, and you should be able to also...
Peace....

I'm pretty surprised that this topic isn't locked yet. It seems like the subject of 'Free Speech' has no place in 'General' Steven Seagal discussion (should be moved to 'Off Topic').

Since it's still here, I think I'll take advantage to point out a few things I've noticed. This Forum is definitely for the die hard SS fan. The casual day-to-day banter among friends is not here. Discussing what new movies are coming out or what's the latest musical trend is missing from our vocabulary.

I see a 'General' topic, but it's only for Steven Seagal related threads (not the 'I had the chicken last night and now I've only been off the toilet long enough to post this thread' thread). There's a 'Movies' topics, but only for SS related movies.
There's a 'Music' thread... but only for SS music (which disappointed me a little because there's this new song I was listening to the other day and would really like to see if anyone else likes it).

And the 'Off topic' section. I must admit that only after a couple of days of reading from the 'Steven Seagal' section (and finishing - soon after becoming bored) did I even notice there was an 'Off topic' section. The problem with it is that it feels distant and disconnected from the rest.

After the general expression that you love SS, you can only say it a few more times before the more casual fans become bored and leave.

Less topics and boundaries might help.

Manloaf,
I'm sorry you feel that way! But this is a Steven Seagal web site!
We are here to discuss Steven Seagal!! "Off Topic" is open for you or anyone to discuss just about anything, other stars, other movies, other music, if that is your wish!
Every member is entitled to his/her opinion but it should be voiced as an opinion and not to belittle or berate Steven Seagal or another member! That is not what this board was created for!
The only thing that we demand is that this board be kept as clean as possible! We will not tolerate another SSMB!
Discussions are fine and encouraged but arguments are not!
We try very hard to only delete a post when it is absolutely necessary. We only lock-out a thread when it becomes evident that a situation is getting worse and not better!
God bless,
Mama san

Hey All,

Don't forget the aikido forum! Steven Seagal is also a 7th dan aikidoka (the highest rank for non-japanese aikidokas and the first one having his own dojo in Japan...)
