Steven Seagal clothesline (brand)?

Hello all

I was wondering if there is a official Steven Seagal cloting brand because i think it would make a good idea for him to market it i think. It would be a good idea because he could make many people happy... well okay he always makes people happy of course lol but i mean you could "wear" a part of Steven! Many ppl have done this awith success so it might be a good idea? What do you think? Is it a good move?

No, there isn't (not in North America at least).

Steven Seagal was badly criticized for his fashion in his movies (i.e. as in Glimmer Man) ... so it wouldn't be good business for him here ... and seeing as the U.S. is one of the biggest markets for such (and that Europe has a totally different taste for clothing) Steven Seagal would not succeed in that (over-production happens often in situations alike and ruins many who try to succeed in business of such type).

But why not market something else that he hasnt been critizised for? He could have his own brand of sunglasses or maybe katana blades.? Why not? It would be so cool to wear "official Seagal eyewear"! Or watches! Maybe not ..? Oh well.

I'm sorry to disappoint you...

Katana blades? Steven Seagal is not a craftsman for that. There is a whole art for building and constructing blades. Putting Steven Seagal's name will have no bearing on the price (hence will not bring any extra business to Steven Seagal) as there are professional craftsmen who charge for what the blade is worth (i.e. from one to 250 thousand american dollars) ... plus, if it's a well 'marketed' craftsman, he/she already has a reputation for being a master at that and Steven Seagal would not help his business ... So, if Steven Seagal puts his name on an average blade ... now that would not suit professional practitioner's who think highly of Steven Seagal and end up unsatisfied with the product.

Steven Seagal has put out his oils (I don't know the purpose ... but from what I've heard, it's a quality product) but that didn't get him big business (the money would probably suit an average person though). Steven Seagal also owned a restaurant once ... but that went down (exact reason not given).

Frankly, Steven Seagal is not a very popular figure world wide ... not as much as he used to be at least ... so I don't know how new products with Seagal's brand name would do exactly on the market. If it's something very original, Steven Seagal could do very well, but other than that, he'd be an average Joe in the business world.

Oh nice i didnt know about those oils i havent seen them in any shops
And i had no idea that martial arts weapons were so delicately manufactured it must have seen like an idiotic thing to suggest lol but anyway i believe Stevens name is so well known he could use it for a lot of good things (it doesnt have to be clothes or weapons) Maybe he could open up schools for disadvantaged children where they are helped back onto the narrow path of right and good through spiritual advice? I at one time felt lost but with Steven as a spiritual advisor i got back on track and now i have become a more complete person. there are many people who need help and who look up to our Sensei so why not? Maybe im just being silly again ?:-(

Steven Seagal made Aikido popular in North America and has established his own style through his schools in the U.S.

Right now, Steven Seagal is very busy with his movie making. Early on, during his Hollywood debut, Steven Seagal wanted to be known as an actor (and "not as a sex symbol" ... which I found just too funny ... sorry girls ... but I bet guys know exactly what I'm talking about :=)) ... so now, Steven Seagal is on a roll with too many movies to fit his tight schedule. So at the moment he does not have any time for practically anything else ... never mind starting another business.

Unfortunately, many have no appreciation for Steven Seagal's work ... the straight-to-video movies (regardless of who makes them ... or stars in them) are not popular enough for the actors and the films to produce a loud enough message to reach most.

We the few, we the proud. (I am Canadian! ... Pride is also considered a sin ... but ... I am a proud of many things.)

I think a SS silk clothing line would be so cool, I mentioned this before, and I think there are some photos in the gallery relating to something like this? To me his clothes are so charming, I would like some just like them, and even better if they had his signature on the label, or better yet one of his actual ones with the faint aroma of his essential oils still lingering on it....

Does anyone know if Steven has been in any videogames or if any videogames are coming up because i have gamecube but only bomberman and mario and i wanted to try out an action game! I read something about a upcoming release for gc(?)
