Steven Seagal Nervous According To Tom Arnold

NEW YORK - Tom Arnold (news) says he likes playing "the fat white guy" in the movies.

"You get to say a lot of words. I had to fill in a lot of blanks (for Jet Li (news)), which is cool," the actor told AP Radio.

In "Cradle 2 the Grave," Arnold said, Jet Li doesn't have much dialogue because his accent is so thick. As for DMX, he's too busy being cool to say much.

One actor who had trouble keeping his cool around Arnold was Steven Seagal (news). The pair worked together on "Exit Wounds."

"I probably owe (him) an apology. I thought he was being weird, but it turns out the reason he was so jumpy was because there were hit men on the set," Arnold said. "If I'd known that, I may have (cut) him some slack. He was very nervous when you came up behind him."

He says Seagal was so nervous, he had trouble concentrating on the set. "I remember him asking, 'Who's that guy?' because he was confused a lot."

"Cradle 2 the Grave" is in theaters now.

I get nervous a lot too...I'm very shy...Maybe Steven gets nervous, too...So what? He seems kinda quiet...I mean everyone knows they (the mob) was threating him during Exit Wounds...And anyway, we are all just human...I think that's fine...

Anothing thing I would mention is that Buddhism teaches that one should quiet the mind, and avoid wrong speech, so in a way he quietness could simply be him following the teachings. Being quiet is not bad. One doesn't need to always be the center of attention or a clown. Sometimes other see quietness as being shy, unfriendly, or nervous, though...
But if Steven was so nervous I don't think he could be in front of the camera, I mean sometimes of course, we all are sometimes...
In certain situations we should learn hold our tounges, like he does, and be respectful...I remember an intereview where he said that being in front of the camera was very natural for him...I respect the way Steven carries himself, if he is quiet, that's ok...He should be proud, and I see nothing wrong with how he is...

Oh, ok I see he lost his temper too...Well maybe Tom got on his nerves, who knows...He might have a bad temper, it's possible...
And people were coming to the set just to threaten him, I read all about that...Wouldn't that make you nervous? It would make me a bit jumpy too...

Have you ever watched Tom Arnold in his sports show "The Best Damn Sports Show Period". Whenever he gets a guest who is quiet it seems to unnerve him. He seems to get even louder and more boisterous. I watch this show a lot and he seems to do fine when it is joking and plaaying around, but he has a real hard time doing anything serious. I think that must be part of his personality. He is always very hyper and flashy. He does too many shows a week to be able to be totally putting on a act. He would slip up if he did. I.m sure if Steven was real quiet, it would have sent Tom Arnold overboard. He wouldn't know how to sit and reflect or meditate like Steven. He can't seem to handle peace and quiet. I can also see him saying things like this to make a joke. He doesn't seem to take too much real serious!

Tom Arnold is so hyper, its hard to watch him sometimes. He always looks and sounds nervous. As for Steven he admits himself that he has a bad temper. He used the quote, "Beware the fury of a patient man". Hes also known for pysching people out on the set of his films, both physically and mentally. Its something he has fun doing, so perhaps he was trying to unnerve his costars. Either way we watched Exit Wounds for Steven not for Arnold, so chew on that Tom.

Suzi, I don't know if he has a problem with Steven Seagal or not, but I agree Tom Arnold looks like kind of a spaz, he is just that type, I totally am not...I like to be calm, I don't like to get noisy, if he thinks Steven is uptight that is just his problem, I mean geez everyone is not the same...LOL @ mandy and Casey...I loved Steven's performance in Exit wounds, if he is really like Orin at all then that's just wonderful! He is just fine the way he is...And temper? I do expect that he has one, yes...

I certainly don't feel afraid of him...In fact, showing a a little strength and or restraint makes him so much more sexy!
