Well, I know about the Marley's and Inner circle....
Who else?
I just can't seem to think of any right now...
But most everything I hear in the genre sounds good to me...
He'll have to introduce the others to me someday...:)

I'm not really sure if I like B.B. King or Louis Armstrong though...
I think you would Zen, if you heard him live. I live 70 miles away
from Memphis Tn. You go down Beale Street & listen to the blues
inside and even on the streets. people are playing the blues. :)
The Mississippi River is at the end of Beale, and you would not
believe the incredible sunsets! Oh, I do looove the blues.....:)

hugs, katrina

Don't get me wrong. I do have a desire to listen to blues, raggae, jazz, etc. Who are some other good artists in those fields?

Zen

In 1909 W.C. Handy wrote the first blues song. There is a
park with a statue of him on Beale street. Other blues artists
are Muddy Waters, Furry Lewis, and Bobby "Blue" Bland.
Memphis is where the blues originated. Some contest that.
But I think you would love Beale Street, you can learn every
thing there is to know about this type of music hugs, kat :)

Marley St.

Yeah and talking about raggae and Bob Marley. There is a street in Toronto named after him, and used to live there (there actually were some Jamaicans doing some raggae on the street of Eglinton off of Marley St.).

I heard that the Marley's have something akin to a "graceland" in Jamaica...

Aren't those guitar and BB King photos all from Beale Street?

Thanks, Kat...:)

I don't know how I did it Zen, just guessing, mainly...
And I have my member info there on Amazon, so the checkout process is really easy that way...

Maybe if you all go register first on the American site, then ordering will be easier?

Or maybe you can ask for assistance on the American site, and one of the customer reps can place the order for you?

Good Luck!

So, you paid something like $35 (US currency) for this CD and they will be shipping it to where you live from outside the country? Have you heard any reviews from anyone who has bought it? I may just go ahead and order it though I fear I may either not like it or get mad at myself if it is released here $15 less.
