Steven Seagal's School...

Does anyone here know what city Steven Seagal's martial arts school is in? I mean is it in the city he lives in? As anyone ever been there?

Also I saw (shotolady) and some others talking about seminars. How did you guys come about going to these seminars? Are they open to the public? How was it that you was privilaged to go?

It's in california, probably in a suberb of LA where he lives.

Hmmm, is it still there? I didn't think so...I think it used to be in west hollywood someplace, anyone know?

From what I have heard and been told, he doesn't have a dojo in LA(unless something was started up just recently). I was told that he still has training sessions at his house when his schedule permits(which isn't very often these days). These aren't for lower belts I don't think, believe that these were for brown belt and above(or maybe just black belts). I may be wrong, so don't quote me on this. I believe that some of his previous students have dojos that are still affiliated with Sensei. I know that there is one in Florida, and some in a few other states. Just not sure which other states.

Last I heard he had 3 schools affiliated with him directly. One in St Louis with Elliot Freeman Sensei, and two in Florida with Luis Santos Sensei and another with Jorge Angulo Sensei. I just read today he was doing private lessons by invitation only.

I thought he had one in the Bay area and/or Taos New Mexico.

Ah, yes it was New Mexico not Arizona...
