This is as of yet no set date when--or even if--it will ever be in the U.S. We have had many of our members from around the world, including the U.S., order this from French Amazon without any difficulties. A couple of French members have even offered to to help translate, although those members who did order managed to do so without requiring assistance.

Usually it's the other way round: much later in Europe, IF at all.... I was very surprised when I read that the CD in my player was not yet "in the hands" of the American members...

It would make it so nice to have all of Steven's movies and his CD's, I am hoping he does make more, released all over the world at the same time.

Well, I guess I have my doubts that it will ever be available for sale here, since it came out in France, and there has been no mention of it coming here, except one statement of something like "sometime in the future". I don't think he has a big enough following here in the States for a music CD of his to sell, no matter how good it is. Unfortunately, many people don't even take him seriously as an actor, and far fewer as a singer. Almost every comment I've come across on the internet here in the States--even from those who have not heard it--is disbelief that he would even attempt to sing. I just don't think they'll even give him a chance here, unfortunately. Just my opinion, of course. Hope I'm wrong!

Omy... that is sad, Serena...!

The French have a saying that goes... "No man is a prophet in his own country" - I guess this proves it true... but what about open-mindedness...?

I would have thought that the US "fans" would be even more likely to at least give it a try than the European "fanciers"... and seing that the CD is selling quite well in Europe I'd also think someone would take the chance to market it in the US... Time will tell. It would be interesting to know how many of that CD Amazon.fr (or other similar sellers, if any) have already sold and what percentage of the orders was put in/placed by US residents.

Honestly, I am convinced you don't need to even slightly like the actor to like the singer... the words are good, the music is good, and the voice is better than a few whose names are all over the place, in my opinion. I know I'd have loved the CD even if I had not known it was (by) him... and frankly the only thing I regret is that there isn't another one... yet...?

I'm curious.......is the CD you have a retail version or bootleg.....because I thought I read above you were asking about the lyrics....they come inside the booklet of the retail version(not sure about the early promo releases tho')...I did have some trouble with Amazon.fr shipping me a few copies minus the poster...which they've resolved no problem...
I think even if it hads a US release...it'll be a web-exclusive anyway..I really doubt it;it'll be in too many music shops to just walk-in and buy....and it'e pretty easy to find now as a full album download or as single songs in high quality bitrate.
PS: if you did get a copy minus the poster Amazon will refund the entire amout inshipping the return shipping fee well....they do acknowlege now that there was a shipment they received without posters.

I got the CD, complete with a CD "box" (?) and cover/booklet, as a belated B'day present (there was no poster, but I don't know that it "came" from Amazon)... and like I said at the time I asked about the lyrics, "someone" took the "box" - a 9 y.o. fan, to be precise... now it is somewhere in her bedroom, maybe under her futon <G>, she hid it and like most things she hides, she can't put her hands on again, of course... only God knows <G> where it is and whether I'll see it again soon or within months... The CD itself is safe in my pc, and I also saved all the songs to my disk... just in case ;-)))

As far as I know the only bootlegs I have are Elvis records and video tapes - but please don't repeat it <VBG>!
