The Marksman: A New Wesley Snipes Movie

This movie came out of nowhere. It's not even listed on IMDB. If anyone knows the plot, please tell me, because I'm curious about this one. Also, Wesley starts work on a new movie in Romania next week called The Razor's Edge to be directed by (gasp!) Poh Chih Leong, the man who helmed Out of Reach. It seems Wesley's doing a Seagal in the DTV race.

Here's the trailer from Video Detective. I think it looks pretty good! Kind of generic, maybe, but I like that in the action genre--Good guy goes in to save the day, kicks butt, and does save the day! :D

And here's a brief synoposis:

An action-packed, gripping espionage movie starring Wesley Snipes. The U.S. is tricked into targeting an “armed” nuclear reactor captured by Chechen rebels. Can Snipes and his special ops team figure things out and save the day in the end?

Thanks for the info, Bobby_Lupo! :)

You're right Serena. It does look quite generic actually. I am betting that The Marksman IS The Painter, just re-titled, so we'll have to wait and see if IMDb changes it. As for 7 Seconds, I think it might be a decent rental, so I'll check it out soon.

Hmm... doesn't look too good to me. It amuses me how the guys on the message board (link on 1st post) can't spell Seagal's name.

big gulps huh
His next movie which is currently filming according to Castel is Razors Edge (used to be John Doe) and its now being directed by Po-Chih Leong, and if its twice as good as Out of Reach it will still suck.

Well i watched 7 Seconds last night. A very decent DTV. The action was good, some nice car chases/stunts too. Plot was okay, very easy to follow. No dubbing either. :D

Certainly worth a rent.
