Still no releasedate announced for Absolution here in Holland. That would be the first Seagal movie ever that is not getting a release in the Benelux (Belgium, Netherlands, Luxembourgh). I contacted Waxman about it and he was surprised, because Absolution did great in North America (VOD, DVD, Blu Ray). He said he will contact Daro Entertainment about this issue. To be continued.....

No worries, you didn't miss much!

I have the UK Import, so I have already seen the movie. I think Absolution belongs to the better Seagal dtv's. But that's just my opinion...
Sorry, I rectify. People from Benelux didn't miss much.

Indeed, Absolution belongs to Seagal's dtv movies: poorly directed, ridiculous script, and (this is new) almost a second role for Seagal.

Can we just have a normal conversation....? No need to be so offensive. Respect everyone's opinion.

I am not giving up! I just contacted Daro Film Distribution myself and I really hope they can tell me why Absolution has not been released in Holland yet!

Just heared from Dutch distributor Premiere TV Distribution. I asked them if they would buy Absolution for a Benelux release. The director spoke with Daro at the Cannes Filmmarket last week. He wants to buy Absolution, but he wants to wait how End Of A Gun turns out. Premiere TV Distribution is releasing End Of A Gun on September 23, 2016. If that one makes enough money for them, they will buy Absolution. So IF we get a release in Holland, we will have to wait for another 1,5 year....BUT there is hope ;)

I just refuse to give up on a Dutch release for Absolution. I contacted Dutch Film Works (who is releasing Sniper: Special Ops) and ask them if they could release Absolution in Holland. There Buying Department will look into it.....fingers crossed!!
