In July 1995 Tom Hanks appeared on the David Letterman Late Night Show. They talked briefly about the Academy Awards(The Oscars) in 1995. Seagal was there as a presenter and Hanks of course too.
During the show Letterman who hosted "The Oscars" at the time brought some dogs on stage and showed what they can do. He looked in the audience and called Tom Hanks on stage to help him out with the dogs.
Hanks that he waved to Steven Seagal and they made fun about that.
