Top ten Seagal fight scenes.

I hate to fall back on the good old 'top ten' hokum but what are everyone's top ten fight scenes with Seagal? Mine from very best to best are:

1) Marked For Death (jewellery store)
2) Out For A Kill (sword-fighting monks)
3) On Deadly Ground (bar brawl)
4) Out For Justice (butcher shop)
5) Marked For Death (voodoo chamber)
6) On Deadly Ground (workroom at the end)
7) Nico (fruit shop)
8) Exit Wounds (nightclub)
9) Hard To Kill (store)
10) Out For Justice (climatic fight)

Ten just isn't enough sorry so here's a few more I love: the final fight in The Glimmer Man, the fight with the wooden pole in Fire Down Below, the restaurant fight in Out For A Kill, the pool hall in Out For Justice, the house fight in Hard To Kill, the car-jacking scene in Exit Wounds and the Infirmary scene in Half Past Dead.

Too many to choose from...But for some reason, the bar scene in Exit Wounds is one of my favs, and the swordwork in OFAK...The cupcake scene must be one of the best ones ever, though...Also the scene in Glimmer man where the guy makes Seagal bleed and he asks 'is that the best you got?' those looks and the deadly menacing whispers that he gives just give me the chills, not exactly in a bad way though, more like in an very exciting way...

Yeah I love all those too. The way he taunts the guy in the fight at the end of Glimmer Man is great. "Take your best shot. No I said best shot! Boooring!". Great stuff. I really love the sword-fight in Out For A Kill it's superb, it's a shame it's so early in the film though it would have been great as a fight towards the end. I love the shot where he swings the sword around his head and stands with it raised up over his head. If you were a bad guy the wise thing to do at that point would be run like hell!

I'd go for the bar room scene in Out for Justice. Horrendously cut in the UK! The end fight is superb too. The butcher's shop is good but too short!

Yeah they're all good fights in Out For Justice, it's a shame the three you mention are all cut to some degree here in the UK though rumour has it the most recent DVD is now unscathed. After watching Belly of the Beast I'd now add a fair few of its fights to the list, particularly the fruit market, the samurai sword fights, the fight with Lena and the superb final one.

You forgot the best SEAGAL fight scene ever in ABOVE THE LAW, the Aikido fight scene in the dojo!

That is his GREATEST!

I love the fight between Casey Ryback and Penn in US2. My favorite part is when Penn has a knife and Casey has just lost his but Casey smacks the knife out of Penn's hand with his two hands and then slamms penn against the wall and starts to give him a barrage of punches and kicks really fast. That part was really cool. Also, right before that fight Casey goes into one of the private rooms on the train and a guy attacks him and slams him on the floor and Steven does a really cool move when the guys on top of him. He starts to kick the guy on both sides with both of his legs, really fast, because the guy is inbetween his legs. You know the scene? Anyways, I love though's fight scenes and also the store fight in Hard To Kill.

Oh yes the butcher shop scene is as good a way as any to start the day, that meat cleaver close-up is a killer! Jees I totally forgot about that excellent fight scene in Glimmer Man, I love every minute of it especially when he punches that last guy about 86 times in the face before kicking him into space! Great stuff.
