come get some
probably some loophole that allows that channel to get away with calling it "an original". It's great though, because they also show a lot of the Van Damme straight to videos very early, which saves me spending money on them... :)

Maybe they have it on exclusively (the channel that is)
I don't think it was really a made for TV movie, but what do I know?
Very little about that stuff, really...
They also have Ticker showing at 3:30pm.
That's really good news for me, because mine doesn't play...

Amos - Do you mean The Foreigner has been on TV before, or were you speaking of movies in general? When I checked the TV-now.com schedule, it says it is the premiere on Aug. 3 on USA, repeated three other dates in August.

He's definately got it going on, baby! ;)
I really enjoyed it, and will watch it again...
It might even become my new fav, who knows...
The plot is still a bit thick for me, though...

I liked The Foreigner, mostly because it *wasn't* the usual "Steven Seagal" type of movie.

Alas, I don't get USA, but I do have it on DVD. Only, I wish I had something more substantial to play it on besides my little 15" iMac.

-TD, determined to get a proper DVD player as a Christmas present to self this year

Yes the foreigner was cool...
Different with interesting music, and the slow motion was kind of cool...
The only thing I found strange was the voice changing periodically...
That was puzzling...
I don't particularly want to watch OFAK on a seventeen inch screen either, it would be a shame, so I am going to break down and buy a DVD player I guess...
Uh oh, that means more credit card bills for me....

He dropped his voice a register, from a tenor, to a baritone in places. I'd have to watch it again to see where (no hardship there!), and if it was consistent with the character. It was definitely his voice, just taken down into a deeper range. (Or else he just had a cold! <grin>).

Yes, I noticed that in the audio speech his voice is not so deep, but in the film it definately was...
Maybe it's a maturity issue?
He is still as attractive as he ever was, and I wouldn't mind having him whispering in my ear...;)
