What is the aikido fest, and when did it happen?
Not practical for me to buy a years subscription just to see one clip, ah well...
I have him here deep in my heart, and besides the fancy moves aren't that important, the man he is on the inside is what's most important to me...
Gotta admit though, that when he's moving he is totally awesome...:)

This has been talked about before, but unlikely you have seen it unless you have the video of the demo. This clip only was JUST out in Aikido Journal site, so that's why I gave the link. Prior to this, one would have to buy the whole video (at $40-$50 US) just to see Seagal, so joining this way is cheaper and in case they add more Seagal stuff, you will be able to see it becasue you would be a subscriber.

The demo is a yearly event in Japan, the All-Japan Demo held every yr in about May or so.

not such a robbery after all...

Aikido journal is a great site with unequaled amount of history about aikido and aikijujutsu. A great amount of articles and interviews, an encyclopedia of aikido etc etc. And you actually are allowed to watch and take part of most of the material for free. But if one joins a whole new aikido world opens up...
*end of PR session* ;)

ps. The clip is taken from the annual all japan aikido demo. It so happened that that year (95) Steven was over to recieve his 7th dan from Kisshomaru Ueshiba (the head of aikikai then) and held a demo at the same time. Ds.
