Fellow martial art practitioners:

I wanted to tell you that I believe that this is a very nice website. It is nice to see Aikido practitioners gathering and having general discussions. A bit about me, for I am an outsider to the Aikido realm.

I have participated in Wrestling as well as freestyle. I wrestled for the Marine Corps. I hold the rank of Brown Belt 2nd or Nikyu. My father is a master in Hapkido, his instructor was taught by Wha Kwan Wha. Wha learned from Choi himself. I am also training in Tae Kwon Do presently.

In my teen years, during the Above the Law and Hard To Kill releases dad told of how similar that Hapkido and Aikido were. He also has a few of the books about Morei.

Have a wonderful day all.

Hoshin - Which means self defense.

Oh, by the way, I live close to a few different Aikido schools. One of them is call Three Rivers Martial Arts. They are affiliated to Steven in as much as they fly out to his home in CA once a year to train and test for their next belt under his direction.

Die Hard Seagal fan!
Oke, I know that Steven Seagal has given seminars in his home, but do you know if Steven still give seminars at his home every year in these days?

I don't think so, because Steven now focus more on his music and making new movies.

But it's should be fine, if you knew the answer on my question ;)

And Welcome on the Unofficial Steven Seagal Forum, it's a very nice place and I hope you enjoy it here ;)

greets take-sensei

I talked to Elliott Freeman, who is the instructor. He knew my pop back in the early 70's while he (Elliott) was a student at Southern Illinois University-Carbondale.

I stopped in his dojo two years ago, it is really nice by the way. I have not talked to him since. Here is the link to the Aikido instructors club for more info.
