Oh...in that case I'd say...THE PATRIOT! I'm just kidding, what I meant to say is...FIRE DOWN BELOW, sorry, only kidding what I really would choose is...ON DEADLY GROUND! Under Seige was probably the best, it had good stunts, good fights,and a good cast. Seagal was still thin as well.

I dunno wether this has been said yet because i cant be bothered to read through all the reply's but i think the answer is none of them. They are all excellent, the only one i didnt particular enjoyed was the patriot. It was an okay film, but someone else should have done it.

In my opinion, the best movie Steven Seagal is Under Siege. Why ? Because the Casey Ryback character fits him like a glove.
He has that great height (look at him when talking to his cook friend ! he's twice his height !), his haircut, his weight (at this time), all those things fitted exactly with a former SEAL Captain !
To speak about the characters, i think that a military profil fits better than a police officer. look Exit Wounds...and remember Under Siege...frankly, don't you prefer Under Siege ? Where you can imagine that Ryback has had a great military training, that he's a GREAT shooter, an expert in explosives ?
Whereas in the movies where he plays a cop, there isn't this mistery background that goes...
