Which Dtv Movie Would You Like To Have A Sequel?

I like that line of thinking. I don't think he'd go for White House, in part because they've just done those two movies, but what about the Kremlin? Or other similar structures.
The only thing against it is Production Values....To do a White House/Kremlin film they would need a decent budget I would think and with Voltage giving 6-10M budgets I think it would look cheap but If he could get the Money then I think its a good Idea to set a film about the Kremlin

I also think he should do a revenge type film but set and filmed in Russia....For me a DTK 2 would be good but it has to be filmed in Moscow IMO

"which dtv movie of the past 10 years you would like to have a sequel.'

Come on! What a strange iea.

For me, I would like any DTV movie sequel.

Think about it. For a good movie that was released in theaters, the sequel of that movie is often bad. What could be the quality of a Seagal's DTV movie sequel? The disaster of a disaster!

I agree, but they could use stock footage, as long as the internal shots looked decent enough.

Not sure about a Driven to Kill sequel. I really enjoyed DTK, and I didn't mind his faux Russian accent, but I'm not sure I want him to do another accented film anytime soon, his affected gangster / blues drawls are tough enough to stomach. It'd be nice if he just spoke naturally for once. And audibly. I also absolutely hated the soundtrack to DTK, it was comedy at times, utterly ruining some of the admittedly decent action sequences. It was as if somebody cracked out an accordion and started playing polka in the background whilst Seagal's bashing somebody's head in. Even the final fight was affected by this.

How about a police station as an Under Siege-style setting? Then it could be just some generic True Justice-style building (hell, they could use the same building in this and whatever TJ movie that they will hopefully do to finish off that story, and save costs).

The story could have some international criminal leaving a bomb which will decimate the city, but ironically picked up by local PD on a simple driving offence / carrying a concealed weapon offence. They don't realise who he is, and he just sits in the station waiting for his heavily armed crew to pick him up.

Seagal could be either the head of one of the Detective units (TJ-style) or just the husband/father of a cop who works at the precinct, and turns up as it's getting raided. They kill all the cops, and take some hostages, but their egress is halted by the Feds who surround the building but can't take any further action because of the hostages. Seagal is caught up on the inside, and the only person who can save the day.

Location-wise, it can be one building, one set, saving loads of money. And I'm sure Bulgaria can pass for anywhere if you're just looking at something this simple.

I know it's close to the Season 1 finale for TJ, but they could do it better than that, and have it focus more on Seagal's character, rather than a whole team, which would hopefully remind us more of the Die Hards than TJ...

Just brainstorming.

I hope some of these ideas get back to Waxman

Another idea is Seagal doing another ITS type film set in Japan(Again the budget might not be enough)

I liked Japan as a setting and it gave the film a more Professional look than his Poland/Bulgaria/Romanian films

Yeah either another movie in Japan or an Into The Sun sequel  The only thing I want, is for Seagal to not wear the long leather coat ;)

I really enjoyed Urban Justice - it had an old school stripped down feel with a simple and straight forward revenge plot. A follow up to UJ could be devised to fit the typical DTV budget they work with these days, and, even though I personally enjoy the Bulgarian locations, it would be nice to return to the American Southwest locales. Also, the Mercenary for Justice character John Seeger would make a good focus for a second film.

Another Idea is for Seagal to do another OFJ style film....He did UJ which was well liked by the fans but was a bit cheap looking

I would be good to see Seagal play a ex cop(Like Gino) who is now retired and whos son gets in trouble and he has to come and help him out

Again it would have to a US set film not Romania but its the kind of film Seagal fans want from him....a straight and simple action revenge thriller that has no CGI/Explosions etc but is built around hand to hand fighting and shoot outs

DiDa please suggest the idea to Waman about an Into The Sun sequel
Yes, but only if it’s filmed in Japan (in my opinion). :) Although ITS is a nicely filmed movie with great locations I must say it had a bit too much talks and could have had more action.

I would like to see more Seagal movies from Asia anyway, for example from Hongkong, but according to an interview it looks Seagal already has some ideas about that.

I asked DiDa to suggest it to waxman, that is it. That post was not for you, and by the way, this suggestion will be sent to Waxman wheter you like it or not.

I also will suggest the Into The Sun idea...
Thanks ;)

I like the suggestion and I would like to see an ITS sequel, I don't see any differences here. ;) I just would like to see a bit more action than in the first one, it's just my personal opinion, nothing more. Sorry, I will be silent now.

No need to be silent Martin. I like your suggestions. By the way, this is a great thread with lots of ideas. Keep the discussion going...
