the producers of seagals belly of beast may be showing studios belly and hopeing to get it released in cinemas as there are not release date yet so maybe theres a chance

Most recent reports have stated that Columbia Tri-Star Home Entertainment have bought this film along with a few other Nu Image films and will be releasing them straight to DVD. Belly's release is around December.

Well, I don't know the difference about it all, and what it takes to even get a cinematic release...
I am sure there are a few criteria, but I dunno what that would be...
I think Mr. Seagal is much more involved in the production of his films now (this is just a feeling) maybe he is getting more independent, so I think maybe he knows what is best...:)

Your kidding right? This is the smallest movie(budget wise) that Seagal has put out since Above the Law back in the 80's.

bellys budget is 18mil which is not that bad although not as big as hpd which cost 25mil and out of reach which costs 25mil also.

So the budget is one of the things that determines cinematic worthiness?
Figures, seems like money means everything these days...
Above The Law was a small budget movie?
That doesn't mean much, I watched it recently, and it sure rocked my world!
He had such a very strong screen persona in that one, of course I felt he was just as equally as solid in ODG...
However I can see flashes of Nico in all his other screen personas actually, even in Orin Boyds much more mature character...
And oh my, what long yummy legs he has in that movie, eh girls?
To die for...
Sorry, but Steven's looong legs just seem to give me hot flashes!
Momma Mia! ;)

Lotussan-did you ever read the books Exit Wounds & the Honor Farm? I believe it was in the Honor Farm book a part that you wish had been in a Seagal movie-regarding him dressing as Rudolph
