Yakuza is a co production between Franchise Pictures, the makers of The Foreigner, Half Past Dead and Unleashed and Hannibal Pictures. Warner Bros. is distributing the picture through their deal with Franchise. According to the guidlines of the deal Warner Bros will only distribute Franchise movies that cost above $25 million.
