woaww, serena... what about a cruise on the nile :D

or on the amazonia:D
I HAVE looked into a cruise on the Nile, Pantera!! :D I would love to do it--and it's surprisingly not as expensive as one might think. However, I have been to Cairo and seen the three pyramids of Giza, as well as the Sphinx, and since there are other countries I've not visited--and I don't have an endless supply of money :D--I'm looking somewhere else for right now. :)

Have I got pictures?
The first trip I took overseas was to Italy, and I took 20 roles of pictures. With 36 pictures on each! :D

With every trip after that, I've taken less and less pictures, until I finally just take a few for every area, then buy postcards. :D I decided I no longer wanted to spend half my vacation looking through a tiny camera hole and missing the big picture. :)

Besides, I tend to cut off the top or bottom of each pic, or get my thumb in the way. :D

Egypt was one of my favorite places I've visited, Pantera. :) I didn't get to spend nearly as much time there as I would have liked, but it was still wonderful. I've always had a fascination with it, for some reason, and have seen every special on TV I could. There's a wonderful trip offered as a cruise down the Nile to the Valley of the Kings, which I would love to do, but have other places to visit I've not been to yet.

If Egypt is your dream, save for it, plan for it! You won't regret it, Pantera, I'm sure! :)

This sounds wonderful, Connie!! :)
Especially without kids. ;) :D

I saw a picture on your site before with your motorcycle. :) Do you still have the same one? I would love to do something like that! I'm sure you'll have an excellent time, Connie. :) Be sure to let us know when you're back and how it went.

This past April, Mr. Soul and I went to Mammoth Cave in Kentucky. There are at least a dozen different tours of different parts of the cave. The one we went on was called the Frozen Niagara tour, which is offered several times a day. One that sounded particularly interesting to me was the Star Chamber tour...that's just once a day in the evenings. Another that we may go back for tours a part of the cave with no electric lighting, and you carry lanterns. Prices depend on which tour you go on. If you are claustrophobic, I wouldn't recommended it, because there are some tight spots along the way. It was definitely the coolest place I have ever been to. I cannot even begin to tell you how beautiful it is! To me, that part of the country (Southern Indiana, Kentucky, and Tennessee) is so beautiful...I want to retire there!

Sounds like a blast! :) I've been to Mammoth Cave in Kentucky many times when I was younger, but haven't been in a few years now. That Star Chamber tour sounds great!

I have relatives in Tennesse and it is beautiful! Ever been to Rock City/Lookout Mountain? :D

Mr. Soul and I saw both of those on our honeymoon on our way to North Carolina! I have always wanted to see Ruby Falls, ever since I was a little girl, haven't yet, but I plan to!

I have a cousin in Tennesse...she lives on 250 acres, and guess what! There is a cave on the property!
