Hi kotegaeshi,
Is it the movie where Steven Seagal goes to the therapy group?
Here in Italy they translate the movie titles so I don't know which is. I liked so much exit wounds, he was pretty ironicalHi Maurizio,
Nope, that would be Exit Wounds. This is the one with Keenen Ivory Wayans and if I'm not mistaken the first one in which Seagal openly shows his budhism influence and the first one in which Seagal fysically is getting a bit out of shape
peace

Wow thank you kotegashi I apreciate it. I like delitti inquietanti for the fight scenes but for the rest I prefere above the law or under siege or exit woundsHey Maurizio,
Looked it up for you.
Exit Wounds is Ferite Mortale, The Glimmer man is Delitti Inquietanti.
Peace
I have Glimmerman DVD...from 1997...all the Seagal DVDs in those days has widescreen on one side and full screen on the other..and all had the theatrical trailer.Hey, guys. I recently picked up a used copy of this set:
https://www.amazon.com/Film-Favorites-Steven-Seagal-Glimmer/dp/B000U1ZV6C/ref=sr_1_2
I noticed something strange. All the films are widescreen except for Glimmer Man, which is the one I wanted to watch. All the films are listed as widescreen on the back. I've owned this set before and I don't remember GM being pan and scan in spite of what the packaging says. Anyone else have this issue with this set?
I have Glimmerman DVD...from 1992
If you buy the movies individually on DVD then they might come that way. Mine is part of a two-disc set that has one movie per each side of the two discs. The Glimmer Man, pan-and-scan, is on one side of a disc, while Under Siege, widescreen, is on the other side of the same disc. I thought this was very odd having one film full screen and the other film widescreen. I thought maybe someone might know whether this was a pressing mistake and only few copies were produced this way, or what was going on. I guess I'll have to just pick up the movie individually to get the widescreen version. Luckily, they can be had pretty cheap...I have Glimmerman DVD...from 1992...all the Seagal DVDs in those days has widescreen on one side and full screen on the other..
Not necessarily. His films were also released pan-and-scan on DVD, and laserdisc before that, I believe. For example, this set has only pan-and-scan versions, no widescreen:I'm assuming the DVD version was widescreen?
Just out of curiosity, what's wrong with that set? It looks like 8 films on 4 discs, which would mean all the discs are double-sided. I can understand someone wanting each movie on its own disc, but other than that, what don't you like about that set?if your going to be buying 'sets' ...don't fall for something like this set:

Well...IMO....Black Dawn/The Foreigner/Out Of Reach/Flight Of Fury are completely terrible movies....Just out of curiosity, what's wrong with that set? Yeah, you're right...I wasn't even thinking about when the movie actually came out...says Warner Home Video 1997 on the back cover..
of course that could mean the VHS version.
I have all of the original Seagal Warner VHS...then switched to DVD versions when they came out...
completely stopped with 'Out Of Reach'....couldn't stand that movie.
Pretty sure it was released summer '89 and I remember seeing the VHS(all of them were full screen here) all over the place around Christmas '89
Really they released Batman in widescreen VHS?...I don't remember seeing that here in the US...
I have the DVD version of it(and Batman Returns) and it's just like the Seagal DVDs...full screen one side ...widescreen the other...has the same Warner home video 1997 on the back...also says the audio was remastered Dolby 5.1
What ...Glimmer Man?....
Fire Down Below, On Deadly Ground, The Patriot(as far as I know) aren't either...tho' they are shown in HD on TV
which I guess is just upscaled.
Sorry...no I didn't know you were addressing 'batman' forum remember...Eh....Don't know where to start (hope you're being glib).....and I'm certain that you know I was adressing 'Batman' (the username and forum member) not the 1989 Tim Burton movie
Ok...no problem, but it's the only way to have an HD copy of them.As for TGM, FDB & ODG.....I'd like them on BD (I don't collect TV transmitions....they're very hard to lend out to friends)
Had to correct it...maybe it did come out in '99....I was just going by the date on the DVD cover...***EDIT*** I see you since updated your 'Glimmer Man' DVD from 1992 (as you originally stated) to 1997 (I'll be honest, I think it came out around early 1999/2000) but you've at least you've saved face (this time) and given the DVD release a later date than the actual movie itself
