For Snow & Storm

I hope no one minds, but these two were my life. And desreve to be in the Dharma.

Snow 01/10/2000-6/05/2003

An old soul just visiting again,
we walked together in sun
we ran together in rain.

The love you taught,
the friendship you gave,
you took with you,
to share again.

Of all the things
you taught me best,
I'm still trying to beat,
this pain's the test

My brother my friend,
I still see you in my head,
My brother my friend,
as in life,
as in death.


Storm (21/01/2002-6/05/2003)

A new born life,
Not here before,
the joy you brought,
with cuddles galore.

You taught me compassion,
with your timid ways,
you taught Snow how to swim,
amongst those crashing waves.

I hold you high,
A true friend indeed,
you taught me the meaning,
what happiness means.

Like every weather pattern,
it soon leaves the shores,
Rest in peace my little buddy,
Majestic Winter Storm

It seems something is terribly wrong, and thats sad...Would you please e-mail me sometime and perhaps we can talk about it? That is if you need a friend to talk to, I may not be the best friend you have, but you have been there for me in the past...You know I am always here for you as well... Sorry about the confusion, my dogs (children) were put to sleep after an early morning battle. It is the only time I was not able to seperate them.
As we cannot have children, my dogs were my life. I had never spent a day away from them in all the time they were alive.

I cannot communicate well at present, which is why I'll be offline for a time.
I just wanted to share my thoughts with some of the people I feel close to, and honour my dogs in Dharma.

Kokoro;I am very sorry for you & your families loss. My family has had to have a couple dogs put down over the years too,so I know what you mean. It's worse that you had to lose both at once,but one would miss the other terribly & if it was sick/hurt badly you wouldn't want it to suffer. Time will pass & maybe you might feel like giving another dog a home-but do not push yourself on this.

Kokoro,I'm feeling sorry about your dogs...I remember when my first doggy passed away I had been suffering a long time after until I got another dog...They're just amazing-the dogs-when you speak to them they listen to you and it feels like they understand every singlw word you say...Take care.Kokoro...
