A More Established Villian for Steven's Next Action Movie

Hi! My name is Amuro Wesley.

I am from Singapore and 32 years old.

I first watched Steven Seagal in Marked for Death in 1989. Subsequently I followed his movies like Out for Justice, On Deadly Ground, Fire Down Below, The Patriot, Mercenary For Justice and Black Dawn. 3 of my favourites are Under Siege 1 and 2 and Into The Sun.

Few things I like about Steven Seagal are his height (1.93m), excellent martial arts background and track record especially Aikido, ability to remain calm and not easily intimidated in ANY situation. I do not know his real character but that is how I personally feel from what I see in his movies.

However I discover though he excels in his fighting techniques, I feel most of his movie opponents or villians are second and third class types. Sorry I don't mean to be blunt saying this. But with his character, record and fighting abilities, he should be sparring with someone of equal calibre.

How about getting David Carradine, star of Kill Bill Vol 1 and Vol 2 and Kungfu The Legends series? Like Steven Seagal, he is tall (1.84m although 10m shorter), possesses a strong personality and well-versed in martial arts. He has acted villians in other movies as well especially the one with another martial arts expert Chuck Norris whose title I cannot remember. What I remember is in that movie he brutally tortures and nearly cripples Chuck in their final showdown.

If you ask me what I like in his action movie, I like to see Steven Seagal fight David Carradine. Believe me, if you are searching for a more worthy villian to compliment Steven Seagal's capabilities, David Carradine is THAT man.

David Carradine has movie skill, and also I like him as an actor. However, in real life he studies Tai Chi. In his show "Kung Fu : The Legend Continues" he can be seen doing a lot of the same stuff as Seagal (a lot of kokyunage, ikkyo stuff), but at a slower and sloppier pace which was edited and choreographed to look good.

As a movie character Carradine could make an excellent villain, but not because of his martial art skills.

I believe the film Carradine made with Chuck Norris was LONE WOLF MCQUADE.

One common thing I find in Steven Seagal and David Carradine is that they both love music and play instruments. Steven plays guitar while David plays flute (as seen in Kill Bill Vol 2).

David Carradine acts in a MAD TV Seagal joke as lama.I don´t think that Steven and Carradine wants to work together after that.

In my opinion, Carradine didn´t respect Seagal making that sketch.
