This thread was started by Lotussan. The pictures
are extremely interesting because they were taken
when Steven was younger. He was very handsome
then and he is quite handsome now. I'm 64 years old
but that doesn't mean I'm dead! I enjoy looking at
handsome men, reqardless of their ages.
I think Lotussan put this in the Aikido section because
that was what the article was about.
It's not only the fact that he is an expert in the Martial
Arts that draws people to him but it is also his rugged
good looks as well!
It is just fine to comment on his very good looks, it is also
just as fine to comment on his Aikido and other Martial Arts.
For this thread and the members who commented, I would
not say that anyone has gone overboard.
But then that just my opinion!

Mama san, I think the complaint was more about expectations. If a thread is started in the Aikido forum, one expects a serious discussion about Aikido. If whoever starts the thread has no desire to actually have a serious discussion about Aikido, my suggestion would be to move the thread into the General forum.

I think Mamasan is very aware of what the complaint was about and does not need you to clarify it for her and neither do you need to clarify it for the rest of us . Why is it if an "off topic" post concerns expression of emotion then it is attacked but if an "off topic" post is about anything else it is not attacked . By the way , this question is rhetorical.

Ladies, I know how much you adore Steven. Good for you and good for him. But honestly, there's a reason why on this site I only set my foot in the aikido forum, ever. Because I expect the discussion to be about aikido, or any other kind of budo, preferably regarding S. Seagal. I love you all, but that's all I have to say about this.
