Aikido Difficulty: Scroll

Could any aikidoka tell me how to do a scroll??
When someone pushes u from your back powerfully n u will fall to the front, at that time u might need to do a scroll. But how do u do that???

a scroll?!? Are you talking about a roll? If you are then watch the pic you attached carefully and try it out (start sitting in seiza). Otherwize I have no idea of what you are talking about. (Scroll... I thought that was something ancient people (and japanese) used as important documents.)

Doubt this will help,but I found this:

The word Aikido (gesture to scroll in kamiza) is composed of three Kanji characters: Ai, Ki and Do.

THX Aiki, the name should be ROLL.. ( I made mistakes) Sitting in seiza? OH. that s a good idea.
And Amos, thanks for your idea. To scroll in Kamiza? But what is Kamiza?

Way too much confusion here... Too learn how to roll start from seiza (sitting like the your bowing aikidoka) except you are on your toes (easier to push).
If you are to roll over your right arm put you left hand next to your left knee. With your right hand, *push* your left knee back until the left leg is straight and the length of the left arm and your right ear touches the mat. Now push yourself over with your feet (the more speed the easier it to do it straight).
When you feel up for it you progress to standing. Same thing if you just go slow in the beginning. Íf you want to go come right up to standing then tuck that left leg towards your 'tuckus'.

Kamiza is the *altar thingi* that you bow towards. Sometimes there are flowers and pictures of different senseis. (e.g. O-sensei).

A scroll is a paper some text on (e.g. aikido) usually in calligraphy perhaps brushed by O-sensei.
