Best Seagal Fight?

In the UK magazine 'Total Film' Seagal's fight in the bar in Hard to Kill was voted number 29 in the 50 greatest film fights of all time. This made me wonder what is everyone's favourite Seagal fight of all tiime. To avoid the obvious result of only fights from Seagal's glory years (1988-92) being picked I have divided his career into three sections which I think reflect the general trend in his films of that period and would ask you to choose your favourite fight from each period:

1988 - 1992
1994 - 1998
2001 - present

Also as a matter of interest what would people consider to be the worst fight of Seagal's career?

Kinda hard for me to choose coz' i love all his fights (hahah sick brain!) but you set me thinking and will probably choose a day & view all his movies again and try to choose. Cheers

These are my favourite fight scenes of Seagal.
1. Marked for Death: Store fight and fights on the island
2. Out for Justice: Bar fight, Meat store
3. Above the Law: grocery store, breaking Silva´s arm in end fight
4. Hard to Kill: store fight with four punks, in the house scenes
5. On deadly Ground: fights in the oil factory

Best Seagal fights

Hi there!

The fights are hard to choose from. But I have to agree on the 'Out For Justice' fight with Dan Inosanto is superb. The end fight in 'The Glimmer Man' is a corker, the way he calmly mocks his assailant with 'Boring' as he trys to roundhouse kick Steven. The fights in his European films were too short, but the bar fights are some of the best - such as the bar scene from 'On Deadly Ground where he brings the bully down to size, brilliant!

I dont think there were any other worthy fight scenes in The Foreigner, OFAK, BOTB, OUF.

Into The Sun:

The sword fight scene as well as the market fight scene.

Hell i aint fussed..But i do like the scenes in any of his movies were he works with swords/ knives they look like toys in his hands...ahaaaaa thats the one iam thinking of "out of reach"...that fight scene with the swords ..that rocked..

I didn't really like the Out Of Reach fight scene, he was too out of shape for me in my opinion. I did like the Into The Sun sword fight scene better, but the Marked For Death sword fight scene was the best in my opinion. ;)

Hmm i like all his fights but the last one in under siege 2 and all the fights in marked for death are great!

I would have to go with the butchery, pool hall and final fights from Out for Justice (1991), as my favourites while the fight on the stairs from Black Dawn (2005) would go down as my worst.
