Can Someone Help Me I Would Like To Learn Martial Art (eg Alkido Or Karate Ect). Can You Plesae Help Me And Some One Tell Me How I Can Go About It.thanks Pat,jack

And after you find dojos in your area-visit them & speak to the Sensei & watch classes. Don't sign any long term contracts-one type of martial arts may be great for one person,but not necessarily for you. Observe & speak to the students & find the one right for you.

i agree with you amos. The most important is checking the lesson, talking to the sensei to see if his philosophy is in harmony with your expectations) and trying a lesson. I f you feel good with the sensei and the dojo, normaly it means that you have found the dojo and the sensei adapted to your personnality and to your waitings as a futur practicionner. :)

Some dojos will have a free introductory class, where you can participate and a get an idea of what training will be like, and if you like the way the instructor teaches, and so on.
