Did You Know...

You are surrounded by people who love you deeply. Believe it and give thanks. The world is not fair. Don't ever expect it to be. Realize that. And spend a good part of your life counting your blessings. Never trust the ocean. Nurture compassion in your heart for those who do not have your good fortune. Dream good dreams for yourself. Do what you need to do to make them come true. Note three things that you are grateful for each day. Good things are within reach. Don't forget that it takes hard work to get them in your grasp. Do for others and pay attention to how it helps you to grow in grace. Daydream. Be kind and generous to the elderly. They deserve your goodness. Exercise your body. And your mind as well. Expand your heart beyond what you think are your limits. God is sure of you. Be sure of yourself. Stretch the boundaries of your world. Be courageous. Stand up for yourself. No matter what the odds. You deserve to be treated with kindness. Walk away from mean spirits. Choose happiness. Cherish life. Yours, and others'. Do not compromise the value of life. Don't be afraid. Most of what we fear never happens. Remove woulda, shoulda, coulda from your vocabulary. Laugh a lot. Save your change in a special place. It adds up-and comes in handy. Believe in the spirit of Santa Claus. Don't underestimate the importance of a good night's rest. Sleep is so sweet. Understand that sometimes troubles are simply blessings in disguise. Discover what fires your spirit and follow that path. Learn the art of asking the right questions. The eagle soars where it will. Let your mind hop on its wings and go along for a great ride. Make a list of pros and cons before you make a big decision. When in doubt, eat chocolate. Experience generosity as its own reward.

I still need to work a lot on myself.Sometimes I take a look deep down and discover how ugly I am at times. There should be the best in each of us taking over the worst.

If people stop and help others( I what i do with the sick or the old people and people that have breaken- down in there cars.) Then this world would be a better place. As Amos said about people being to busy be is right. but i don't understand why. From pat, jack

Because our world so much relies on the clock..get to work by this time-lunch at that time-home from work at this time etc...not many people can or take the time to smell the roses

I think the best in you has already taken over the worst! You recognized that there are things you need to work on. There are things I need to work on as well. I'm getting there, but I'm not there yet. I'm just taking baby steps now. The journey of the soul, as I'm finding out, is a challenge. But I think it's more about the journey than the destination.
