Hi! Everyone, good to be back. Skimming here I see Mama is not as good as we’d like but still hangin in tough the way we like to see.

I’m just home from travel and just want to suggest if anyone has some spare Christmas Cash, the men and women in Iraq can use morale raising hand held games, books, other things that relieve stress. The stress is real. I'm send ing some games via the VFW with some of what follows which is expensive.

I don’t believe in the war in Iraq but I do support our troops. And if anyone has a little more cash, personal armor is needed very much. The stuff is hot and terribly uncomfortable (worse for women, believe me) but it’s lot’s better than getting shot or the full force of a grenade.

Anyway I’m home and Cody and I had some warmed up leftovers and a couple nice walks in our woods between the long naps which I seem to need a lot more of than I used to.

Hope everyone is OK.

Be it ever so humble, eh, Hallarian? :) Great to have you back safe and sound! And you take those naps whenever your body tells you to! :D I'm sure Cody doesn't mind a nap himself now and then, as long as you're right next to him. ;)

And thanks for the reminder of our troops in Iraq. It's not too early to send those packages now, as it will take quite a while to reach them. Of course, any gifts will be greatly appeciated whenever they arrive, but it would be especially nice for them to receive them by Christmas. :)

Welcome home, Hallarian. :)

welcome back hallarian. Happy to read you again.
I send wishes to you and to all the american folk for christmas. Even if in Europe we're against the war, believe me we have toughts for the soldiers who risks their life there. We think about all this mums, dads, wifes, husbands, sons and daughters who will have to spend the christmas eve without someone they love or who will have to spend christmas eve in knowing that they won't ever see the personn they love.
To all those people and to all the us soldiers, i sent my support.

Welcome home Hallarian!

I came across this web site regarding shipping things
overseas-not sure if it's reliable or not. I know last
year we took in bags & bags of stuff to a high school
teacher that was supposenly going to ship stuff over
to Iraq...but we got the idea what we brought was too
much & who knows if it ever got there..they should
have just let us know & we would have shipped it.
Anywho last year I had found a list online of items
that was needed-as Hallarian mentioned frisbies & yo-yos
were on the list :)

Smile dammit!
Nice thoughts Hallarian. We went there to liberate them(and secure oil supplies;)) and the ungrateful swines drag our soldiers through the streets. Leave them in their ratholes.
