Well this post is a few days older than i had anticipated. Firstly i'll start by saying i went to see Seagal on the 17th of this month live in newcastle,
The show started about 10minutes late but was well worth the wait.The show opened with the special guest Superk Chikan johnson who amazed the crowd with his home made guitars and ready humour, Seagal himself follwed by his band Thunderbox cameon after the interval and what can i say? The show was sublime awesome solo guitar rifts by the man himself and equaly as good backing by his band.There was a pleasant mixture of whitty one liners by seagal himself, commenting on the weather in newcastle which was drab at best but the show made if feel llike it was 100 degrees in the arena.
At the end of the show when seagal and co left the stage there was huge screams for him to come back on stage, he and the band duely abliged and finished the evening off with "wild thing" which was also a awesome rendition of a classic song.
After the showseagal even took time out of his busy schedule to sign autographs for all the people at the show, the queue didnt move too quick but was well worth the wait as i got to get my poster signed and shake the mans hand, a truely awesome night.
i did get some pics but they didnt come out so well and a guy i met afterwards said he'd send mesome his were awesome quality as i was using my phone and he had his cam.
