How amazing is the mind and just as amazing is emotion . I often look at these two aspects . They are truly awesome.

I Belong To Steven
That is one reason I admire Steven, he has a very mystical mind imho, very quick,
yet very complex...And it is one that gets my emotions churning out of control...
He's a challenge and a pleasure, and the many things he makes me feel are good things...
Funny how everything revolves around this man for me, but hey, this place
is supposed to be all about him, now isn't it? I ought to be complaining about all the
off topic (non seagal) posts that are going on, hehehehe...:D

are you positive of the origination of emotion? Can they come from somewhere other than the mind? Maybe some are of the mind and some may not be? It is a wonderful thing needless to say .

Solitude
So many stones have been thrown at me,
That I'm not frightened of them anymore,
And the pit has become a solid tower,
Tall among tall towers.
I thank the builders,
May care and sadness pass them by.
From here I'll see the sunrise earlier,
Here the sun's last ray rejoices.
And into the windows of my room
The northern breezes often fly.
And from my hand a dove eats grains of wheat...
As for my unfinished page,
The Muse's tawny hand, divinely calm
And delicate, will finish it.

Steve's Destiny
It depends on what definition "the mind" has for you, but yes.

I would think that it could also be man's greatest enemy too....

Depends on with what purpose it's used.It can be either destructive or creative.
But in my opinion, emotions come from our perceptions and sometimes they can be delusional and misleading.Unbalanced emotions sometimes lead us to stupid mistakes but whenever there's mind there's more rationalism in what we do and it sets control over unbalanced emotions.

from my own spiritual path and from my research in other religions and the holographic universe theory of reality, I have come to the conclusion that the mind/soul/aura are all the same thing.

Then to go on from here,I should add that speaking of emotions, the good ones make up a good aura/soul/mind and the same about the negativity,so to say they're mutually connected.
