There's a kind of pattern to pictures of Steven; you can tell who he was married to just by his grooming.
When he was a skinny youth, with fly away hair, a serious and focused look in his eyes because he was pursuing his dream, he was married to Miyako.
When he was in his prime, a handsome, slender man in good condition, with well kept hair and a natty wardrobe, when he had achieved his dream and was happy, his eyes were full of joy (except in publicity shots where he's supposed to look dark and dangerous
), and he laughed often because he was with the woman he loved, he was married to Kelly.
When he entered his maturity, after the dream was achieved, when he became overweight and puffy-faced, tired and ill looking, wearing rumpled silk jackets (some of which do not suit his colouring at all and make him look even more sickly), his hair unkempt and untidy, seldom smiling and even more rarely seen laughing (just that once with Monica Ho on the back of the elephant), looking bored with life and, yes, sometimes looking like he'd lost something, or that he'd lost himself along the way, his life partner is Arissa.
